Yoga Much?

Oats, almond milk, flax, almond butter, berries

Happy summer, y’all.

This is hands down my absolute most favorite season of the year. Well. This and fall. This and fall and every transition from one season to another. Ok, I like all the things…

This morning I was up bright and early because I have a busy day Weaz is a jerk. That little foghorn starts sounding around 5am every single day. No matter what. This morning she got going at FOUR by gnawing on the plastic bag that is hanging on my closet door. Thank you, Weasel.

I do have a lot to do today, though, so I guess it’s not such a big deal that Weaz got me up and then went straight back to bed herself (jerk).

Cold oats make a comeback.

I’m teaching my hot class at 8am followed immediately by teaching 108 sun salutations with Tanner for Summer Solstice followed by all kinds of paperwork for things that are exciting followed by probably eating a sandwich followed by teaching my evening class over at Shala followed by practicing 108 sun salutations back over at Y2.

I do a lot of yoga.

You know you practice entirely too much yoga when you turn off the shower to rescue a bug that’s struggling to escape the rainstorm. God help me.

Namaste, behbeh.

When I was dogsitting over the weekend I managed to pry myself away from my computer for a couple days so I missed the posting of my teacher photo for the website…

Namaste, y'all.

So official. I’ve been teaching for a month now and every class feels better than the last. I love, love, love what I’m doing and could not be more grateful.

Off to tackle this day…

  1. I’ve been vaguely entertaining the idea of YTT myself – it’s something I’d love to do as soon as the timing is right with $ and work and all the other factors. How did you know 100% that it was what you needed to be doing? Was there one defining moment?

  2. I sooo wish I could come to one of your classes….need to find a reason to visit Charlotte…hmmmm?? I’ll be doing 108 Sun Salutations myself tomorrow in the blazing heat in Philly!! Enjoy!!

  3. You’re so pretty! And the oats bowl looks delicious :) But I’m going to have to disagree with you on the whole ‘best time of the year thing.’ I love Christmas and snow, so winter becomes the best time of the year. Followed by spring. Summer and fall? Not so much. Especially not right now when it’s in the 90s! I love ideas 70s weather, but that seems not to be a thing…meh :/
