I do believe you create your own reality, but sometimes you've just gotta take what you can get as far as jobs go (in my experience, anyway... this is coming from a journalism major though, and my field's jobs are pretty few and far between). I think it is important to just get your foot in the door, work your ass off, and that will lead you to your dream job. You are such an incredible writer with a defined voice - so I hope whatever you end up doing includes writing! Love this!
